Jill Johnson is being forced to babysit at a BIG house all by herself for exceeding her telephone minutes. Then all of a sudden a stranger calls making these weird remarks. Jill decides to call the police to trace the call. Jill is freaked out when she finds out that the call is coming from inside the house! Jill runs in a hurry trying to get the children and leave. I wanted to look at the movie ' when a stranger calls' because i think the story line is similar to mine in a way that the whole idea of the terrifying journey starts with a threatening call just like in the previous movie i was looking at 'scream',and also the whole idea of being alone in a house and mysterious things occurring.this movie was rated a PG13.

one missed call is similar to my idea because of the whole idea of the phone and getting calls just like in the other movies 'when a stranger calls' and in 'scream'.also megan good starred in this movie and i thought she was brilliant as i have chosen her for one of the roles in the project i am currently working on.this movie is a PG13.

jack: (laughs) im sure its just someone messing with you, dont worry about it
(conversation interrupted by knock at the door)
alice: will call you later,someones at the door.
(alice opens door and see's its lauren(close friend))
alice: lauren! hey! what are you doing here? come in.
(lauren walks in and they walk towards the couch)
lauren:hi! i was at a party just down the road and lost track of time and its too late for me to head back home now,its too far...can i stay over for the night?
alice:yea sure..how was the party?
lauren:not bad actually,had alot of fun.what are you watching?
alice:niceee....oh its this horror movie about 2 girls being tormented in their house (laughs) its quite scary actually.
lauren:hmmm 2 girls all alone in a house sounds abit like us right now (laughs)
(knock on the door)
alice: i wonder who that is?
alice:noones here
lauren: strange,its probably just some stupid kids messing around.
alice:yeah..maybe...im gonna head up to bed (yawn) its been a long day.
lauren:yeah im tired aswell,will come up with you.
(they go up the stairs into the room)
(lauren changes into her pj's and they get into bed)

the dialouge above was meant to be the original script for my intro. but due to some difficulties i decided to just let the actors improvise,i thought that would be a good idea because it would let the actors that i got to fit in well with the genre and the whole storyline.

I found this piano instrumental on youtube and i thought it would be great for the background music in my intro because of how dramatic and scary it sounds,i also think it builds up a lot of tension which i need  to make the audience want to know what happens next.

Scream

SCREAM :
Before i started my research and coming up with ideas i had never watched the movie 'scream' which is quite fascinating because my ideas are relatively similar to the movie.the whole idea of getting a call from an unknown person with threats is like my idea of getting texts from an unknown person with threats. After finding out about the movie 'scream' i decided to do some research on it such as the promotion and marketing which in the end could give me idea on how i would like to go about promoting and advertising my movie.

The intro. of a movie above was a project me and my friend were working on for fun some months ago.it is a bit similar to my current idea as it is from the horror genre as well. i decided to maybe include this in my current media production as it would have a good effect on the whole project.my idea is for it to be played as the movie the characters are watching on tv in a sense that it messes with their mind.

All Alone

film outline:
a girl happens to be alone at her house one night and gets a scary text from an unknown number (she has gotten texts like this previously for about a week) ,she then calls her boyfriend and tell him about the texts but as shes on the phone her friend comes to see her (sleepover) so she tells her boyfriend she would call him back.later on they go to bed and in the middle of the night the girl is woken up by a loud bang, and realises her friend is missing ,she goes down to see who's in the house but doesnt find anyone she starts to pancic and calls her boyfriend but he doesnt answer.as she goes round the house looking for her friend she gets hit and becomes unconcous.the next morning she wakes up in the basement chained up and bruised.she then realises that she has been kidnapped by her ex boyfriend,he tourturs her through the whole movie and she tries to escape several times.At the end she is rescused by her boyfriend and her ex is killed.

• sound: music in the background is intense and scary which gives you an idea of what genre it is,voices that are heard in the background (screaming) adds to the horror effect.
